Brooke Zimmerman 

My name is Brooke Zimmerman and I am a senior at Blue Valley High School. I am in the Teacher Education Program at the Center of Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS). For almost nine weeks of this semester I was able to observe three teachers and I gained a greater understanding of how to work with kids. I nanny during the week and I wanted to work with more kids and decided to join CAPS so I could understand the viewpoint of being a teacher to kids and not just a nanny. I have been blessed to work with all kinds of kids and have fell in love with being involved in their lives. Sometimes kids can give great reminders of what is important in life and that is why I am inspired to be a teacher.
